Shortfest is one of the premiere short film festivals, screening hundreds of short films from around the globe, and we’re really happy to be a part of it. Our film will screen as part of the “G’day! Fantastic News today… Isaac Natoli has cleaned up the Best Young Actor award at St. Kilda Film Festival in Melbourne!!! We’ve heard he was down there, strutting the red carpet for the event. Hope it was a great night mate. Well deserved 🙂
In other cool news this weekend, The Trophy Thief has reached the African continent, and will screen as part of the Zanzibar International Film Festival in Tanzania. We’re stoked that the film has found an audience in Africa, and has the resonance to become truly international film. The festival runs 9-17th July. Get along if you’re in Tanzania!!!
A little last minute, but… The Trophy Thief will be screening next week as part of the BAFTA recognised Carmarthen Bay Film Festival in Wales. The festival run 9-13 May and is a free event to attend if you’re in the area. This will be our British premiere, and we hope it goes well 🙂
The Trophy Thief is heading back to South America to Cinefoot Film Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil. The festival will be a great showcase of football related films from around the world, and we look forwards to being part of it. It is held from 19-24 May.
The Trophy Thief returns to Australia to screen at the St.Kilda Film Festival 19-28 May. This is a great opportunity for anyone with relatives in Melbourne who want to see the film, to see it on the big screen! The film screens Saturday 21 May @ 2:15pm. See you there!
Our tour of Europe continues as we move to Spain! The Trophy Thief has been selected to screen in the BCN Sports Film Festival in Barcelona from May 3-7.
Been sitting on this one for a while, but we can now happily announce that The Trophy Thief will make its South American debut at Festival Internacional de Cine Deportivo in Buenos Aires. Looking forwards to it!
So… slightly awesome news. The Trophy Thief has been selected to screen at TIFF Kids in Canada. TIFF Kids is one of most prestigious kids film festivals out there, so its a huge honour and privilege to be be able to screen there. We’re all very proud. The film will be screening as part of the ‘Speak Up’ category and will receive four screenings during the festival April 8-24.
We’re not done with Germany yet… The Trophy Thief has been selected to screen at the prestigious Filmfest Dresden 12-17 April. Loving the fact that Germany is getting behind our little film!
